Western Armenian Teacher Training Programme

The Programme of Armenian Studies is looking for the next participant in its Western Armenian Language Teacher Training Programme. This is a one-year programme designed to train the next generation of teachers of Western Armenian. The successful candidate will move to Beirut for one year, where they will follow a course of Western Armenian language study and work in the Armenian community.

Candidates must:

  • Be over 18 years of age;
  • Have been born and raised within a Western Armenian speaking family and environment, being exposed to the language for a reasonable amount of time;
  • Speak Western Armenian;
  • Be willing to teach the language in their respective communities.
Those interested in applying should send their CVs to Dr Krikor Moskofian (k.moskofian@progarmstud.org.uk). After meticulous consideration the successful candidates will be asked to submit a cover letter, which will be followed by a video interview. We will only be answering the queries of the candidates who submit their CVs.

The Teacher Training Programme is designed and supervised by Dr Krikor Moskofian (Director, Programme of Armenian Studies).
